The Regulated Parent
Coaching Services
Parenting whether as a birth parent, foster carer or adoptive parent can sometimes feel like an endless journey paved with unpredictability and uncertainty. Each family's path is unique. The ultimate goal, however, remains the same: to raise happy, secure children equipped with the tools they need to navigate life and reach their full potential. While this aspiration is noble, the reality of parenting is often far from straightforward, and challenges are an integral part of the journey.
Caring for a child is arguably the most important and yet the most challenging role anyone can undertake. It's a role that encompasses a broad range of emotions, daily inner conflicts, and the constant quest for the right response to various situations. At times, it can feel overwhelming and exhausting.
Empowering Parent and Carers through Coaching
"The Regulated Parent" coaching services provide a safe and supportive space for parents and carers to navigate the complexities of parenting. Our coaching sessions are designed to help you reflect on situations that may be causing worry or frustration within your family. Together, we'll unravel the difficulties and cultivate a shared understanding of the factors that might be influencing your child's behaviour.
Drawing from recent neuroscience findings, our coaching sessions steer away from punitive approaches like naughty steps and time-outs. Instead, we focus on evidence-based methods that soothe stress responses, strengthen and repair relationships, and foster collaborative planning to predict and address difficulties before they arise. The aim is to achieve long-term positive outcomes for both adults and children.

Each coaching session explores a different theme relating to your child’s development and regulation, equipping you with the knowledge and practical skills required to embark on your regulated journey.
